INGREDIENTS:

  1. 2 medium onions (thinly sliced).
  2. 2-3 green chilies (chopped).
  3. 1 small cup gram flour/ besan flour/ senaga pindi.
  4. 1 tsp rice flour.
  5. 1 big pinch grated ginger (optional).
  6. Salt- to taste.
  7. 1 pinch soda bi carbonate.
  8. 1 sprig curry leaves.
  9. Oil for deep frying.

  • In a mixing bowl, place the gram flour along with rice flour, sliced onions, green chilies, grated ginger, salt, soda bi carbonate and curry leaves and mix everything well.
  • Now sprinkle little water to make a thick mixture. Keep aside.

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan, on over low flame.
  2. Drop batter gently in to shape less fritters into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.
  3. Drain to a plate and deep fry the remaining batter in batches.
