Main ingredients: cabbage, rice flour and gram flour (chickpea flour).

Preparation: 15 – 20 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 cup very finely chopped cabbage or grated cabbage. (here
  2. ½ cup rice flour.
  3. ½ cup gram flour/ besan/ sanaga pindi.
  4. 1 tbsp corn flour (optional).
  5. ½ tsp ginger garlic paste.
  6.  ½- ¾  tsp red chilly pwd.
  7. ½ tsp garam masala pwd.
  8. ¼ tsp red food color (optional).
  9. 1 eating soda.
  10. 1 tsp soya sauce (optional).
  11. Salt- to taste.
  12. 2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro.
  13. Oil to deep fry.

  1. Mix all above ingredients by adding little water (except oil) in a wide bowl.
  2. Mean while heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame.
  3. Once hot, drop the batter into the oil as shapeless fritters and deep fry them until they turn to golden red color.
  4. Drain to a paper napkin.

Sprinkle some finely chopped onion, cilantro and drizzle the lemon juice and serve hot.
