Main  ingredients: pudina/ mint leaves, coconut and tomatoes.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 small cup mint leaves/ pudina.
  2. 1 small cup chopped coconut bits.
  3. 2-3 medium tomatoes (chopped).
  4. 5-7 green chilies.
  5. Small piece tamarind/ imali/ chinthapandu.
  6. salt- to taste.
  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 2-3 flakes garlic.
  9. 1-2 tsp oil.

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan on low flame, add green chilies and mint leaves and stir fry for a minute.

  2. Add chopped tomato and stir fry for another 3-5 minutes or till the tomato soften. turn off flame.

  3. Once cool, add chopped coconut, salt, tamarind, garlic flakes and cumin seeds to this mixture.

  4.  In a mix jar, grind the mixture  (by adding little water if necessary) to a course paste.

Serve with rice or any type breakfast like idli, dosa, punugulu.
