INGREDIENTS:

  1. 2 medium potatoes (boil, peel and cut into 1” cubes).
  2. ½ small cup frozen green peas.
  3. 1 medium capsicum (cut into 1“cubes).
  4. 1 medium onion (chopped).
  5. ½ tsp ginger garlic paste.
  6. Salt- to taste.
  7. 1 pinch turmeric pwd.
  8. ¼ tsp red chilly pwd.
  9. 1 tsp coriander pwd (optional).
  10. ½ tsp garam masala pwd.
  11. 1 sprig curry leaves.
  12. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
  13. 1 Tsp cumin seeds/ jeera/ jeelakarra.
  14. 1 tbsp oil.

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a cooking pan on over low flame.
  2. Add cumin seeds. When they begin to splutter, add chopped onion , curry leaves and ginger garlic paste and saute till fragrant.

  3. Add green peas, capsicum pieces, salt and turmeric pwd and cook covered for 3-4 minutes. Stir for a while.

  4. Add potato pieces and saute for 5 minutes.

  5. Now add red chilly pwd, coriander pwd, garam masala pwd and mix well.

  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
