  1. 1 cup grated raw papaya/ boppayi.
  2. ¾ cup sugar or add to taste.
  3. 2-3 tbsp ghee.
  4. 3 tbsp milk maid (sweetened condensed milk).
  5. 2 tsp cardamom pwd/ elaichi pwd.
  6. 10 cashew nuts/ kaju (broken, roasted in ghee).
  7. 20 raisins/ kismis. (roasted in ghee).

METHOD:

  1. Heat ghee in a frying pan on over low flame. Add grated raw papaya and saute for 3-5  minutes.

  2. Add sugar and cook, stirring constantly till it leaves the sides.

  3. Now add milk maid or kowa and cardamom  pwd  and cook for a couple of minutes.

  4. Serve hot garnished with cashew nuts, raisins or dry fruits of your own choice.
