INGREDIETS:

  1. 3 big potatoes (boiled, peeled mashed).
  2. 1 small onion. (Roughly chopped).
  3. 2 green chilies (chopped).
  4. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  5. Salt- to taste.
  6. 1 pinch turmeric pwd.
  7. 1 tsp red chilly pwd.
  8. Ā¾ tsp garam masala pwd/ curry masala pwd.
  9. Ā 1 tbsp garam masala pwd.
  10. 1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro.
  11. 1 Ā½ tbsp oil.

PREPARATION:

  • Grind the roughly chopped onion to a curse paste.

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick frying pan on low flame.
  2. Add ground onion paste and chopped green chilies and saute for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Once the color starts changing, add the mashed potatoes, salt and turmeric pwd and stir fry for 12- 15 minutes till the potato mixture turns to golden hue.

  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till we get a nice aroma.

  5. Now add red chilly pwd, garam masala pwd and coriander pwd and stir fry for a minute.

  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with hot rice, roti or dosa.
