  1. 500 grams Black gram (Skin less).
  2. 100 grams jaggari (finely grated)
  3. 400 grams sugar or to taste.
  4. 1 tbsp rice.
  5.  450- 500 grams ghee (approx).
  6. 2 cardamoms.

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan on over low flame. Add black gram and dry roast till fragrant, crisp and golden brown. Remove.
  2. Add the rice in the same pan and dry roast for 2-3 minutes till they slightly puff up. Let them cool.
  3. Grind the black gram to a fine powder and remove.
  4. Grind the sugar along with cardamom to a smooth powder.
  5. In a wide vessel, mix the powdered black gram along with grated jaggary and mix very well till the jiggery gets totally mixed in it.
  6. Now add the powdered sugar and mix again.
  7. Finally add enough ghee to this mixture and mix everything well.
  8.  Make big lemon sized balls (laddoos) out of the mixture with hands.
  9. Cool completely and Keep in an air tight container.
