Hi every one. Are you thinking what specials to make on sunday, as a evening snack?..  This is one of the best recipe to use as an evening snack. kids love to eat it. Try this out and enjoy it with your family.. 🙂 🙂

Main ingredients: chicken (bone less), spices and egg.

Preparation: 35 minutes.     Cook time: 15 minutes.

PUFFY CHICKEN

PUFFY CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS:

  1. ½ kg bone less chicken pieces. (Neatly washed and drained).
  2. 1 Egg.
  3. 1  medium capsicum (cut into 1″ cubes)(optional).
  4. Salt – to taste
  5. 2 pinch Turmeric pwd (optional).
  6. ¾ tsp red chilly pwd.
  7. ½ tsp chicken masala pwd or (powdered 1 cardamom, 6 cloves, ½ “cinnamon stick).
  8. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  9. 1 tsp soya sauce.
  10. 2 pinches food color (optional).
  11. 1 tsp lemon juice.

FOR GARNISHING:

  1. 1 tbsp chopped onion.
  2. 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves.

Oil- sufficient for deep frying.

  1. In a bowl make a thick coating batter by mixing all above ingredients (except oil and lemon juice) and marinate the batter for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Method:

  1. Heat oil for deep frying.
  2. Take the chicken out the marinade and deep fry until it turns to light golden hue.

  3. Serve hot, sprinkle the chopped onion and coriander leaves.
  4. Drizzle lemon juice on the top.
