Chicken chilly fry

Main ingredients: chicken and green chilies.         Cook time: 30 minutes.

Serves: 2-3 people.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. ½ kg chicken (neatly washed).
  2. 1 medium onion (chopped).
  3. 4 green chilies (cut in to diagonal shape).
  4.  Salt- to taste.
  5. 1 pinch turmeric pwd.
  6. ¾ tsp red chilly pwd.
  7. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  8. 1 tbsp coriander pwd.
  9. 1 tsp chicken masala pwd.
  10. 2 tbsp s chopped coriander leaves (optional).
  11. 15- 20 coriander leaves.
  12. 2 tbsp s oil.

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan on over low flame.  Add chicken pieces, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, salt, turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd and ginger garlic paste and mix.

  2. Stir occasionally for 15- 20 minutes or till the chicken mixture thickens.

  3. Add coriander pwd and chicken masala pwd and mix.

  4. Finally add green chilly bits and curry leaves and stir fry for a minute and transfer into serving bowl.

  5. Serve hot with biriyani or sambar rice or rasam rice.
