  1. 2 cups Wheat flour.
  2. 2 bunches spinach (neatly washed and finely chopped).
  3. Salt- to taste.
  4. 1/4 tsp turmeric pwd.
  5. ½ tsp ginger garlic paste.
  6. ½ tsp red chilly pwd.
  7. Oil /ghee– for shallow frying
  8. Water

PREPARATION:

  1. In a wide bowl place chopped spinach along with salt and mix. Let stand for 5- 10 minutes. Then knead the spinach until the spinach soften.

  2. now add turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd and ginger garlic paste and mix.
  3.  Then pour the flour along with 1 tsp of oil and enough water and knead into dough.

  4. Set aside for 10 – 15 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal portions and shape into balls.
  6. Roll out each ball of dough into a medium sized parata.

  7. Mean while heat the nonstick pan, put the parata on the hot pan.

  8. Cook the parata for a minute. Drizzle a little oil around and cook till golden.

  9. Flip over and drizzle some more oil around the other side is golden. And take it out and serve hot with any dal or yogurt.
