Main ingredients: goat legs and spices.

Cook time: 30- 45 minutes (approx).

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 4 Goat legs (neatly washed, fried and cut into pieces).
  2. Salt – to taste.
  3. 1 pinch Turmeric pwd.
  4. 3-4  tbsp s oil.
  5. 1 tsp red chilly pwd.
  6. Coriander pwd- 1 tbsp.
  7. 1 bunch Coriander leaves (chopped).
  8. 1 medium onion (chopped).
  9. 4-5 Green chilies (slit length wise).
  10. 3 cups water.

INGREDIENTS OF  SPICES PASTE:

  1. 2” ginger piece (chopped).
  2. 6-7 Flakes garlic.
  3. 1 cardamom.
  4. 1” cinnamon stick.
  5. 6-7 cloves.
  6. small coconut piece (chopped).
  7. 1 tbsp poppy seeds.

PREPARATION:

In a mix jar grind above 7 ingredients(spices) to a fine paste and keep aside.

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a small pressure cooker on medium flame. Add all above ingredients except water (chopped onion, green chilies, legs pieces, salt, turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, coriander pwd, coriander leaves and spices paste) and mix everything well. Saute for 5-7 minutes or until fragrant.

  2. Add water and mix. Cover with lid and pressure cook up to 7- 10 whistles. Turn off flame and wait until the pressure is released and remove the lid.

  3. On low flame, simmer for 5- 10 minutes or till the curry reaches to required gravy consistency.IMG_3658
