Main ingredients: green chilies, bengal gram flour.

Prepare time: 5-7 minutes.                      Cook time: 5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 12 Green chilies (cut in the middle).
  2. 2 tbsp Bengal gram flour.
  3. 2 big pinches Salt or( to taste).
  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds (coarsely powdered).
  5. 1 tbsp Oil.

PREPARATION:

Combine the gram flour with salt and cumin pwd. Stuff about 2 big pinches of this mixture inside in each green chili.

METHOD:

Heat oil in a frying pan on over low flame, add stuffed green chilies and cook both sides, till the green chilies are slightly browned.

sprinkle remaining Bengal gram flour mixture over the green chilies and sauté for a few seconds. Transfer into the serving plate.

Serve hot as a side dish for sambar, or any type of dal.
