INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chicken- ½ kg.
  2. Ginger garlic paste.
  3.  Mint- 1 big bunch (pluck).
  4. Coriander leaves-1 bunch (chopped).
  5. Onions- 2 medium (chopped).
  6. Green chilies- 6- 10.
  7. Salt- to taste.
  8. Turmeric pwd. – 1 pinch.
  9. Coriander pwd.- 1-2 tbsp.
  10. Chicken masala pwd.- 1 tsp.
  11. water- 2 tbsp.
  12. Coconut milk- ½ cup.
  13. Oil-3-4 tbsp.

PREPARATION:

               Grind plucked mint and coriander leaves and green chilies to a course paste and keep a side.

METHOD:

  1. In a cooking vessel, add chicken pieces along with chopped onion, salt, turmeric pwd, ginger garlic paste, coconut milk and a little water. Cook covered for 5- 10 minutes or till the chicken mixture thickens. And keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame, add cooked chicken, mint mixture and chicken masala pwd and coriander. Stir fry for 5- 10 minutes till lightly browned. Serve warm with rice or roti.
