CABBAGE AND POTATO CURRY SERVING BOWL

INGREDIENDS:

  1. Cabbage- 2 cups (finely chopped).
  2. Potato- 1 medium (chopped).
  3. Tomato-1 medium (chopped).
  4. Green chilies- 3 (chopped).
  5. Coriander leaves- 3 sprigs (chopped)
  6. Coriander powder- 1 tsp.
  7. Garam masala powder- ½ tsp.
  8. Coconut paste- 2 tbsp.
  9. Ginger garlic paste- ½ tsp.
  10. Turmeric powder- 1 pinch.
  11. Salt- to taste.
  12. Water- 2 cups.
  13. Cumin seeds- ½ tsp.
  14. Mustard seeds- 1 tsp.
  15. Oil-3-4 tbsp.

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a non stick cooking pan on medium flame, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, when they splutter, add chopped onion and green chilies and sauté. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add chopped cabbage, chopped potatoes, salt and turmeric powder and sauté for 7 minutes till they tender.
  3. Add coconut paste, coriander leaves, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder and 2 cups of water and combine.
  4. Place lid and simmer for 5-10 minutes or till you get the consistency of your choice.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve warm with rice or roti.
