Main ingredients: dosa batter, idly batter.       Cooking time: 15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Dosa batter-1 cup.
  2. Idly batter- 1 cup.
  3. Salt- taste.
  4. Rice flour- 1-2 tbsp.
  5. Chopped onion- 2 tbsp.
  6. Chopped green chillies- 1 tbsp.
  7. Chopped curry leaves-1 tbsp.
  8. Oil- for deep frying.

PREPARATION

  1. Combine two batters with above all ingredients in to a bowl (except oil).
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame.  Apply a little water in your fingers. Take a lemon sized batter in to your fingers and drop gently in to the hot oil.

      3. Put high flame and deep fry till the punugulu turn to golden hue.

4. Now reduce the flame and drain into the serving bowl.

Serve immediately with tomato chutney or coconut chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
