INGREDIENTS:

  1. TOMATOES- ¾ Kg. (finely chopped).
  2. Eggs-4-8. (boiled and de shelled).
  3. Onions- 2 big. (finely chopped).
  4. Green chillies- 4 (cut into 2-3 pieces).
  5.  Salt- to taste.
  6. Red chilly powder -1 tea spoon.
  7. Turmeric powder-1 big pinch.
  8. Water- 2 cups.

FOR TEMPERING:

  1. Oil- 2-3 Tbsp
  2. Mustard seeds /  ria / aavaalu -1 tsp.
  3. Split black gram (skin less) /urad dal / minappappu- 1 tsp.
  4. Cumin seeds /jeera / jeelekarra- 1 tsp.
  5. Curry leaves-2 strings.

6.  Coriander leaves- 2 tbsp. (chopped), (optional).

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS :  Heat oil in a non stick cooking pan on medium flame.  Add  mustard seeds, cumin seeds and split black gram and let it splutter. Then add curry leaves, chopped onion and green chillies and sauté till golden hue. Add chopped tomatoes and stir fry for about 10 minutes or till oil separates

Now add red chilli powder and boiled eggs and sauté for few seconds. Add water and combine

Cook with lid for about 5-7 minutes. Turn off, when  you get the required gravy consistcy.
